Trained where a dress was measured against a body.
Karmen learned her trade in Istanbul, in workrooms where a garment was drafted from a person's measurements rather than pulled from a size chart. That training is unusual now, and it is why her gowns fit the way they do.
She has been sewing professionally since 2005, and brought the atelier to Dallas–Fort Worth in 2021.
Karmen still does the work herself. Book a consultation and you sit with the person who will make your dress.

How she works.
Prove it in cotton
A muslin is fitted before your real fabric is cut. It costs a little time and removes almost all the risk.
Fit more than once
Bodies change between the first appointment and the wedding. Multiple fittings mean the gown tracks you.
Be honest about the number
A firm quote once Karmen has seen the garment, and it does not move afterward.
